Overview

The Parkfest Altenstein 2025 once again enlivened the historic Altenstein Palace Park with music, theater, fairy tales, and art. Performances took place at various locations in the park – by the waterfall, at the Chinese Pavilion, at the Devil's Bridge, and in the inner park; the daytime program was free.

Parkfest 2025 – Review

In 2025, the Parkfest once again transformed Altenstein Palace Park into a cultural stage. Three days of programming were spread across the historic grounds of the English landscape park. Theater, readings, concerts, and fairy tale performances appealed to adults and families alike. The daytime program was, as always, free.

The event is organized by the Friends of Altenstein Association (Förderverein Altenstein e.V.), which has been committed to the preservation and revitalization of the historic palace park for years – an example of civic cultural engagement in the Wartburg district.
