Review: Park- und Schlossfest 2025

Three festival days in Greiz from June 13 to 15, 2025 — the city once again transformed into a continuous festival mile between the Burgplatz, Schlossgarten, and the city center.

Program Highlights 2025

After a cannon salute to start the day on Sunday, the musical matinee began at 10 AM in the Schlossgarten and Baderei. The festival parade at 1 PM on Sunday brought around 600 participants in 60 floats through the city center — afterwards, the most beautiful floats were awarded in the Schlossgarten. At 6 PM, the cover rock band Rockpirat played. At 8 PM, the Vogtland Philharmonie invited to the Vogtlandhalle for the classical evening «Sounds of Hollywood». The grand finale was a spectacular fireworks display at the Oberes Schloss around 10:30 PM. Admission to all events except the classical evening was free.
