Review: Parchim City Festival 2025

The 41st Parchim City Festival 2025 took place from June 6 to 8 in the city center of Parchim—the last city festival before the 800th anniversary in 2026. Opening on Friday at 4:00 PM by the mayor, followed by a three-day program with concerts on the stages at Alter Markt and Stadthaustreppen.

The funfair stretched through the historic old town, and gastronomic stands along the festival mile offered classic Mecklenburg folk festival fare. Thousands of visitors from Parchim and the Ludwigslust-Parchim district attended the festival, which traditionally marks the start of the Mecklenburg summer festival season.
