Overview

The 76th season of the Ottobeuren Concerts took place in the summer of 2025 with three Basilica Concerts and several chamber concerts. While the Kaisersaal was still under renovation, the chamber concerts were held exceptionally at alternative venues in the municipality. The international renown of the festival once again attracted thousands of guests to Ottobeuren.

2025 marked the last summer of the Ottobeuren Concerts without the Kaisersaal, which will be available again as a venue in 2026 after a five-year renovation. The three grand Basilica Concerts took place as usual on Sundays at 3 PM in the Basilica of St. Alexander and St. Theodore, bringing international top orchestras and conductors to the town.

With the reopening of the Kaisersaal in 2026, the festival will expand significantly – not only in terms of space but also programmatically, with additional chamber concert series, children's concerts, and an international opera gala. The 77th season anniversary will thus coincide with the relaunch in a completely renovated ensemble of halls.
