Spring Market with Tradition
The Friends of Diekholzen Primary School has been organizing the Easter Market for over two decades. What began as a small school market has grown over the years into an event with regional appeal. More than 60 exhibitors showcase their skills – carefully selected with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship and quality.
Pottery, Wood, Textiles, and More
The market's focus is on arts and crafts: pottery and ceramics, wooden objects, textile work, painting and craft art, occasionally jewelry and natural cosmetics. In addition, there are culinary stalls offering homemade cakes, coffee, soups, bratwurst, and drinks. The mix is ideal for families: while adults browse the stalls, children can enjoy their own activity stations.
Diekholzen and its Primary School
Diekholzen is located by the Hildesheim Forest, southwest of Hildesheim. The primary school is the central school in the community, and its Friends association is one of the most active in the village. The Friends association uses the Easter Market to finance projects that benefit the school community.
