Overview

The Osterfeuer Elmenhorst 2025 was celebrated around Easter in Elmenhorst (Vorpommern-Rügen) as usual. Families from the village and surrounding area gathered at the festival grounds to light the large fire together and enjoy a relaxed evening with bratwurst, drinks, and activities for children.

In 2025, the municipality of Elmenhorst once again invited attendees to the traditional Osterfeuer. The event followed the usual concept: gathering in the early evening at the festival grounds, lighting the customs fire, activities for children including a craft offer and a visit from the Easter Bunny, as well as catering provided by the volunteer fire brigade and local helpers.

For years, the Osterfeuer has been a firm fixture in the municipality's spring calendar and follows the tradition of Northern German customs fires around Easter.
