Overview
In 2025, BW Alstedde also lit its neighborhood Easter bonfire on Easter Sunday at the Am Heikenberg sports field. With fire bowls and Swedish fire logs, the tradition was continued in a modern form — including sausages, mulled wine, and neighborly chats.
The 2025 Easter bonfire by BW Alstedde followed the established format: starting on Easter Sunday in the early evening, fire bowls and Swedish fire logs on the sports field, catering by club members, and free participation for neighbors and families from northern Lünen. The modern variant of the Easter bonfire has proven to be a safe and family-friendly format.
