Osterfeuer Interessengemeinschaft Beckinghausener Vereine

The 2025 edition continued the Beckinghausen tradition. Holy Saturday evening with fire, catering, and the village atmosphere of the 1,000-inhabitant district.

One of 33 officially registered Easter bonfires in Lünen 2025. Lighting at 6 PM of the fire built from brushwood, shrub cuttings, and old wood – days of preparation by volunteer helpers of the Interessengemeinschaft Beckinghausener Vereine. Catering at the association stands with Bratwurst, fries, cake, mulled wine, beer, and children's punch. Children gathered around the fire, often with stick bread over the embers. Festival ends around 10–11 PM depending on weather and mood.
