The 2025 Ostalgie-Abend at Wasserschloss Mellenthin on Usedom once again offered an atmospheric February evening with Duo Grauer November. Tancred Schmidt and Lothar Merz presented GDR classics live in the historic castle ambiance, taking the audience on a nostalgic and humorous musical journey through time.

The 2025 Ostalgie-Abend at Wasserschloss Mellenthin confirmed its successful format. Duo Grauer November – Tancred Schmidt and Lothar Merz – brought GDR songs live to the Renaissance building, combined with little background stories and their own introductions.

In February – the off-season on Usedom – the event creates a special atmosphere: no crowds, but an intimate concert setting in the castle hall with a moat outside the windows. For years, the Wasserschloss has excelled at hosting such cultural evenings, bringing enjoyable quality even to the darker months.
