Spring culture series with concerts, exhibitions, and craft markets in the Osnabrücker Land
The Kulturfrühling in the Osnabrücker Land aims to bundle and communicate the diverse cultural offerings of the district during the spring months. From small craft markets in the village to large castle concert series, a broad spectrum is made visible. Bad Essen, with its historic old town, galleries, and garden days, is regularly one of the focal points. In addition, there are events in Bad Iburg, Bad Laer, Melle, Bramsche, Bersenbrück, Ankum, and many other municipalities.
The program includes classical concerts in historical settings, exhibitions in galleries and museums, craft and spring markets, readings, guided tours of listed buildings, and open garden days. In the Wittlager Land, stops along historical routes are included, while in the Artland, the region's cultural heritage is the focus.
The Kulturfrühling is part of the year-round tourism strategy of the Osnabrücker Land and is coordinated by the tourism association. Individual events are published promptly on osnabruecker-land.de, often with online ticketing and travel recommendations.
From early April to the end of May, the Kulturfrühling brings together individual events throughout the district. The themes range from classical music and folk songs to arts and crafts, garden culture, local history, and literature.
Important venues include the historic old town of Bad Essen, Ippenburg Castle, the Sole-Kurzentrum Bad Laer, the Augustinian monastery Gertrudenberg in Osnabrück, Iburg Castle, and the local history museums in the Artland communities.
The detailed 2026 program will be published by the organizer in the spring. The structure follows the proven cornerstones of previous years: concerts, exhibitions, markets, garden and literary events during the spring months.
