Overview

On June 2, 2024, Oslebshausen celebrated its Dorffest around the Grambke Oslebshausen sports club in Sperberstraße. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the club grounds transformed into a vibrant meeting point with a stage programme, international dance groups, and an interfaith ceremony. The organisers were Gröpelingen Marketing e.V., the Bürgerhaus Oslebshausen, and the Grambke Oslebshausen sports club.

Diversity on Stage

The 2024 edition sent a clear message for the cultural diversity of Gröpelingen. Bulgarian, Mexican, and Cuban dance groups delighted the audience, while Circus Fiffix amazed with acrobatic performances. The Kratzbürsten – active on Bremen stages for over 25 years – brought laughter to the Schützenplatz with their comedic theatre.

Interfaith Ceremony

A special moment was the interfaith ceremony, where representatives of various faiths stood together for diversity and respect – a strong statement from a neighbourhood where people from over 100 nations live.

Sunday Shopping

Parallel to the Dorffest, Waterfront, Sander Center, and Gartencenter Wassenaar opened their doors for Sunday shopping. Thousands of visitors combined their festival visit with a relaxed shopping spree.
