Orgelfahrt Rügen — Edition 2025

The Orgelfahrt Rügen 2025 was, as in previous years, led by Matthias Grünert, cantor of Dresden's Frauenkirche. Over six days in early June, he performed around two dozen organ concerts in the churches of Rügen and in Stralsund. Programmatically, the focus was on works from the North German organ tradition, Romantic pieces, and repertoire from more recent organ literature. The concerts were planned so that multiple locations could be reached by car per day — a concept that makes the tour format a journey through the island landscape. The patron was again the Minister President of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. All concerts were free to attend.
