In the summer of 2025, St. Michael's Church in Sagard hosted concerts by regional and national organists on the Kindten Organ, as it does every summer. Preparations for the second Rügen Organ Tour with Matthias Grünert (scheduled for 2026) were part of the church music focus on the island.
St. Michael's Church in Sagard has been an important concert venue on the island of Rügen for years. In 2025, concerts on the Kindten Organ were on the programme, alongside classical music festivals such as the Festspiele MV. Preparations for the second Rügen Organ Tour with Dresden's Frauenkirche cantor Matthias Grünert, taking place in 2026, were background elements of the summer church music programme in Sagard.
