Overview

The Oranienburg City Festival 2025 took place from June 20th to 22nd. Three days of program with dragon boat races, stand-up paddle races, a funfair in front of the palace, live music, and a Fête de la Musique on Sunday. Thousands of visitors from Berlin and the surrounding Oberhavel region came to the festival mile at the Schlossvorplatz, the Luise-Henriette-Steg, and the Marktplatz. Free admission.

The 2025 City Festival brought three days of festive atmosphere to the Havel. On Friday evening, the mayor opened the festival on the Schlossvorplatz, followed by live music and the opening of the funfair on the Marktplatz. The main stage at the Schloss became the central hub for all three days.

Saturday featured the Dragon Boat Cup on the Havel arm — teams from Oranienburg, Berlin, and the surrounding area competed in spectacular races. Parallel stand-up paddle competitions and beginner workshops took place. On Sunday, the city festival merged with the Fête de la Musique: concerts in courtyards, cafés, and squares created the typical June Sunday atmosphere.
