Overview

Already in 2025, the Orangerie Concerts attracted classical music enthusiasts to the Steigerwald castles. As in subsequent years, Schloss Sugenheim, the Orangerie of Schloss Unternzenn, and Schloss Hausenhof formed the framework for a concert series presenting high-caliber soloists in intimate venues.

The 2025 edition of the series, curated by Christoph von Weitzel, followed the proven pattern of recent years: four concerts spread throughout the summer in three different Franconian castles. Piano and chamber music evenings dominated the program, complemented by string quartet formats and song recitals.

As in previous years, the Festival Concert Pass offered an incentive to attend multiple concerts. The Steigerwald audience, as well as classical music fans from Nuremberg, Würzburg, and Bamberg, form the regular attendee base.
