Edition 2025 — Opernfestspiele Saarpolygon
No Opernfestspiele am Saarpolygon took place in 2025 — the festival is held every two years. Following the success of the first edition in 2024 with 'Carmen', the second edition with 'West Side Story' will follow in 2026.
The Opernfestspiele am Saarpolygon are held every two years. After the successful premiere in 2024 with a completely sold-out production of 'Carmen', 2025 was used for conception, casting, and preparations for the second edition. The performance season will therefore continue in 2026 — with 'West Side Story' as the season's production.
