The Opernfestspiele am Saarpolygon are held every two years. After the successful premiere in 2024 with a completely sold-out production of 'Carmen', 2025 was used for conception, casting, and preparations for the second edition. The performance season will therefore continue in 2026 — with 'West Side Story' as the season's production.
