Overview

In 2025, the Open Studio Days Hohwachter Bucht also took place on three weekends between May and October. Around 24 studios, galleries, and art spaces around the bay opened their doors — Panker, with Hedisign and Panker Kultur, was one of the most concentrated locations.

Open Studio Days 2025

Hohwachter Bucht Touristik and the town of Lütjenburg organized the Open Studio Days 2025 as usual on three weekends in spring, summer, and autumn. Art enthusiasts, families, and day-trippers could choose from painting, sculpture, jewelry, and ceramics — works created in the workshops that opened their doors wide this season.

In Panker, Hedi Peters in her Hedisign goldsmith workshop at Gut Panker and Henning Rethmeier via Panker Kultur e.V. in Gadendorf impressively demonstrated how rich the art scene around the Hohwacht Bay is. Three more weekends will follow in 2026: May 23/24, August 15/16, and October 3/4.

Free admission. Works by the artists can be purchased on-site.
