Overview

The Open Beatz Festival 2025 took place from July 25th to 27th at Poppenhofer Weiher, Herzogenaurach. With seven stages at the time, more than 150 acts, and over 70,000 visitors, the festival confirmed its status as one of Southern Germany's most important EDM events. Hardstyle and Techno dominated the lineup, and camping was sold out as usual.

The 2025 edition continued the festival's long growth trend: three days, seven stages, a selection of acts much discussed in the scene, and a consistently developed safety and sustainability concept. The organized shuttles from Nuremberg were heavily used in previous years and were deployed again in 2025.

The stage hosting concept, where multiple collectives get their own stage areas in 2026, was already tested on a smaller scale in 2025. The success of these curated mini-festivals within the festival led to a significant expansion in 2026 with eight stages and five external curator teams.
