Overview

In 2025, the Open-Air Cinema at Strandbad Wendenschloss also ran its usual Wednesday series: from early June to mid-September, an international cinema hit was shown every Wednesday on the beach stage by Langen See. Film start 8:15 PM, admission from 7:30 PM, admission €10 regular or €8 reduced. The fourth season already confirmed the open-air cinema as a firm fixture of the summer in Köpenick.

In the summer of 2025, the fourth season of the Open-Air Cinema at Strandbad Wendenschloss took place. As in previous years, a large screen was rolled onto the sandy beach of the lido on Möllhausenufer on Wednesday evenings; deckchairs in front, Langen See behind. Film start was always 8:15 PM, admission from 7:30 PM, and admission was €10 regular or €8 reduced.

The program once again featured a curated selection of international cinema highlights from recent seasons. Street food and a bar served visitors; arrival by tram 62 from S-Bahn station Köpenick led directly to the water. With the 2025 season, the format definitively established itself as a summer classic in southeastern Berlin and paved the way for the opening of the fifth season on June 3rd, 2026.
