Overview
In 2025, the Open Air Cinema was again the central strand of the Mosbacher Sommer — almost two weeks of programming in the Großer Elzpark. Current film hits, family movies, and independent films alternated. The city of Mosbach confirmed the event as a permanent fixture in the summer calendar; its success led to the 2026 rerun.
2025 — Proven format under the open sky
As in previous years, the Open Air Cinema 2025 offered a varied program in the Großer Elzpark. The city of Mosbach provided a large screen, sound system, and seating; a snack stand offered drinks and snacks. The film selection mixed German and international productions, with a slight focus on audience films. In case of rain, screenings were postponed or moved to indoor city venues.
