29th Oldtimer Festival in Aschen

29th Edition of a Diepholz Tradition

Die Oldieschrauber e.V. have been organizing the Oldtimer Festival in Aschen since the late 1990s. What started as a small get-together for mechanics has grown over the years into one of the largest vintage vehicle events in southern Lower Saxony. 2026 will see the 29th edition – an occasion for special program points and an expanded field of exhibitors and vehicles.

From Beetles to Excavators

The festival showcases the full spectrum of historic vehicles. On the grounds of the Local History Museum, you'll find classic cars from the Beetle to the Mercedes "Strich-Acht", historic trucks, tractors, and vintage construction machinery. Owners and collectors exchange ideas, while visitors can admire the vehicles up close and chat with their owners.

Aschen Local History Museum as a Backdrop

The Aschen Local History Museum is open during the festival and complements the vehicle program with historical exhibitions. Thus, the festival combines mobility history with local heritage preservation, offering a day where visitors can experience both.
