Overview

The Ohlstedter Dorffest 2025 gathered the northern Wandsbek neighbourhood at Ohlstedter Platz again on the last Saturday of August. With a flea market, live music, dance performances, a fire brigade show, and the residents' association's own festival beer, the event reaffirmed its status as a central social gathering for Wohldorf-Ohlstedt.

The 2025 edition of the Ohlstedter Dorffest took place, as usual, on a Saturday in late summer at Ohlstedter Platz. The Bürgerverein Duvenstedt/Wohldorf-Ohlstedt e.V. (Residents' Association) organised the programme in collaboration with sports clubs, dance schools, and the volunteer fire brigade.

On the open-air stage, music groups and dancers from the district performed, the flea market around the square attracted bargain hunters from all over Hamburg North, and families took advantage of the sports and games stations run by TSV DUWO 08. The traditional Festbier (festival beer) – a house brand of the residents' association – also flowed abundantly.

The rural-urban blend of the Wohldorf-Ohlstedt district once again made the festival a welcome respite from the hectic city life further south.
