Edition 2025 — Ofen-Stadt-Fest
With its premiere in early summer 2025, the Ofen-Stadt-Fest established itself as Velten's new city festival format. Three days of stage program, amusement rides, children's activities, and the first 'Velten in Flames' fireworks attracted a broad audience from the town and the Berlin commuter belt — and ensured the continuation of the format for 2026.
Premiere 2025 — Ofen-Stadt-Fest Velten
The premiere of the Ofen-Stadt-Fest Velten in 2025 was the result of a small reform of the city's festival culture: the city wanted to make its identity as the 'Stove City' visible beyond the Stove and Ceramics Museum and commissioned Jens Schmidt GmbH to organize a three-day city festival on the town hall square. The stage, beer tent, carousels, and the first 'Velten in Flames' fireworks appealed to families and adults alike. The success of the premiere led to its direct continuation the following year.
