The 244th Oelzer Kermse in 2025 took place at the Vereinshaus Oberes Schwarzatal. Three days of village fair with live music, dancing, and a classic folk festival atmosphere. Organizer as always: Musikverein Oelze. The tradition dates back over two centuries.

244th Oelzer Kermse in Summer 2025

As every year, the Musikverein Oelze celebrated the village fair in 2025 at the Vereinshaus Oberes Schwarzatal. The event remained true to its proven format: live music with a dance band, classic folk festival catering with bratwurst and beer, family program during the day, and dancing late into the night. The tradition officially dates back over 240 editions — an amazing continuity that showcases the village as the bearer of its own festival culture.
