The Ochsenmarkt Nordenham is one of the city's oldest market events and, with its name, refers to the historical cattle markets that once shaped the regional economy of the Wesermarsch. Today, the event has developed into a modern autumn market with Sunday shopping, which transforms the city center into a colorful market and experience mile every third Sunday in October from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Regional specialties, handicrafts, autumn decorations, pumpkins, apples, preserves, honey, and much more are offered at the market stalls.
