Edition 2025 — Obstblütenfest Sirksfelde
The Obstblütenfest Sirksfelde was not held by the municipality in 2025; in previous years, the festival had taken place at the end of April on the community orchard meadow at the Kieskuhle. A revival is announced for April 2026.
Break Year 2025
Unlike in previous years, the Obstblütenfest did not take place in Sirksfelde in 2025. The youth and culture committee has called for the tradition to resume in April 2026.
Tradition Under the Apple Trees
In the years before the break, the Obstblütenfest was a firm fixture in Sirksfelde's spring calendar: families met on the community orchard meadow at the former Kieskuhle for a communal barbecue, children built nest boxes, and the apple blossom provided the natural backdrop for the start of the warmer season in the Herzogtum Lauenburg district.
