Overview

In 2025, Tourismus Oberstdorf again invited visitors to the traditional village festival in the Kurpark and Pfarrgarten. Two stages with live music, Allgäu cuisine, a family program, and an opening with rifle volleys and keg tapping characterized the Saturday.

The Oberstdorfer Dorffest 2025 continued the festival tradition established many years ago. On the two stages, brass bands from the Allgäu alternated with bands and dance groups. Allgäu restaurateurs and clubs provided a wide range of food and drinks, with a focus on local specialties.

The festival benefited from typical Allgäu midsummer weather and attracted locals, regular guests, and day-trippers from all over the Oberallgäu region. The opening with rifle volleys and keg tapping by the mayor and director of tourism remained the indispensable introductory ritual.
