Edition 2025 — Obersimonswald Village Festival
The Obersimonswald Village Festival 2025 took place over three days in early August 2025 at the Pavilion Obersimonswald. As every year, the keg tapping ceremony, live music with Black Forest bands, and the family afternoon on Sunday were the highlights. The Obersimonswald Community Association organized the traditional village festival with the volunteer efforts of local clubs.
Obersimonswald Village Festival 2025
The 2025 edition of the Obersimonswald village festival, like every year, took place at the end of July/early August 2025 at the pavilion. Three festival days with a keg tapping ceremony on Friday, live music on Saturday, and Frühshoppen with a family afternoon on Sunday characterized the proven concept.
Black Forest specialties from the associations, traditional folk music from local bands, and the familiar community atmosphere of Obersimonswald made the festival a fixed date in the Simonswald Valley's summer calendar. Hundreds of locals and guests from the surrounding Black Forest communities attended — a confirmation of the important social significance of the village festival for the valley community.
