Overview

The 2025 season of the Obermarchtal Minster Concerts, as usual, offered a curated mix of choir concerts, organ music, and solo recitals in the baroque Minster. The 13th Organ September was the musical heart of 2025 as well, bringing together renowned organists from home and abroad. The series attracted a loyal regular audience to Obermarchtal.

Minster Concerts 2025

In 2025, the Obermarchtal Minster Concerts also spanned from late spring to October. The Friends of Sacred Music and Monastic Culture Obermarchtal curated a program of choir evenings, organ concerts, and festive concerts that fully showcased the acoustic and atmospheric qualities of the baroque Minster.

The 13th Organ September was once again the highlight: over three Sundays in September, works from the great organ literature were performed by international soloists. The series once again confirmed its reputation as one of the most distinguished sacred music concert series in Upper Swabia.
