Overview
The Oberdorfer Kerwa 2025 was celebrated at the end of September, as always, as a four-day village Kerwa in the Oberdorf district of the market town Thalmässing. The programme included the erection of the Kerwabaum, dance evenings, a festive church service on Sunday, Frühschoppen, the Kerwabaumtanz with the young men and women in Franconian traditional costume, and Kehrausmontag.
The 2025 edition of the Oberdorfer Kerwa was marked by the tried-and-tested Middle Franconian Kerwa choreography. The village community erected the Kerwabaum on Friday, and the weekend was filled with celebrations, food, dancing, and the traditional Kerwabaumtanz on Sunday.
As every year, the village gathered for the Sunday Kerwa with a festive church service and Frühschoppen. The homemade Küchle were served with coffee in the afternoon. Kehrausmontag concluded the festival.
