Overview

The 42nd edition of the Oberbergischer Töpfermarkt took place on Whit Sunday and Whit Monday 2025 in the historic Denklingen castle courtyard. As every year, the organizer was the Heimat- und Verschönerungsverein Denklingen e.V. Potters and ceramic artists from all over Germany and neighboring countries exhibited their works.

During the Pentecost weekend 2025, the pottery market continued its tradition of over four decades. The historic Denklingen castle courtyard once again provided the backdrop, with potters and ceramic artists traveling from across the German-speaking world as well as from Belgium, the Netherlands, and France.

The program followed the established format: a sales market in the open castle courtyard, consultation sessions on care and trends, demonstration sessions by individual potters, and catering provided by the local heritage association. The market thus remained one of the most important summer events in the Oberberg region's cultural calendar.
