Overview

The Oberaudorf Trail Festival 2025 was the second edition of the young festival. The distances 12K, 21K, 42K, and 60K expanded the spectrum, which had started as a pilot year with smaller distances in 2024. Hundreds of trail runners from Bavaria, Tyrol, Austria, Italy, and all of Southern Germany came to the Inn Alps region — Dynafit, live podcast, live music, and pasta party characterized the festival atmosphere in the town center.

The 2025 edition definitively established the OTF as a fixture in the Alpine trail running calendar. The route through the Inn Valley, over the Brünnstein region, and towards Tyrol proved successful, and the festival grounds in the center of Oberaudorf became a meeting point for the Southern German trail community.

With the announcement of the 100K Ultra for 2026, the OTF showed ambition: the festival aims not only to establish itself as a regional trail event but also as a significant multi-day competition in the Southern German-Austrian Alpine region. The sponsorship partnership with Dynafit and the growing response from runners and sponsors confirm this aspiration.
