Trempelmarkt Autumn 2025 — Review

The 2025 autumn edition of the Nürnberger Trempelmarkt once again confirmed its status as Germany's largest inner-city flea market. Up to 200,000 visitors strolled through the Old Town, from the Hauptmarkt across the Pegnitz to Insel Schütt — thousands of stalls with collector's items, antiques, records, furniture, and junk filled every corner.

As in previous years, Friday evening was the social highlight: under a summer sky and fairy lights, the Old Town transformed into an open-air sales area at night — a spectacle that doesn't exist in this form in any other major German city. Saturday was for the early birds and classic antique dealers.
