Overview

The Nürnberger Herbstvolksfest 2025 ran from August 29 to September 14 at the Volksfestplatz Dutzendteich. 17 festival days, around 1.6 million visitors, beer tents from Tucher and Lederer breweries, Augustiner-Zeltbar, classic fireworks displays, and Family Days on Wednesdays characterized the second edition of the year after the Frühlingsfest in April.

The 2025 autumn edition confirmed the format: 17 festival days, a Ferris wheel with views of the Frankenstadion and Dutzendteich, Franconian festival beers, Augustiner as a Munich counterpoint, fireworks displays, and Family Days. Visitor numbers were again around 1.6 million guests from the greater Nuremberg area, Middle Franconia, and beyond.

The beer tent program featured the classic mix of Volksfest brass bands, schlager bands, and cover bands. The showman families from Southern Germany brought their large thrill rides, along with classic family carousels. Bratwürste, grilled fish on a stick, pork knuckle, and gingerbread hearts remained culinary constants. The festival concluded on September 14 with the traditional finale fireworks.
