In September 2025, the Nürtingen City Run took place, as is traditional, on a Friday evening — a run through the city centre with start and finish at Schillerplatz, award ceremony, and a final gathering with live music. Proceeds from entry fees and catering went to Nürtingen's social civic projects.

Nürtingen City Run 2025

The 2025 Nürtingen City Run took place as usual in September — a civic charity format that has been part of the late summer season in the Esslingen district town for years. From the run through the city centre to the award ceremony with the mayor and the concluding gathering with live music and food offerings, the format attracted hundreds of participants and visitors to Schillerplatz.

As in previous years, volunteers from Nürtingen clubs handled the catering. Proceeds from entry fees and refreshments went to social civic projects — a tradition since the inception of the City Run format.
