Edition 2025 — Nordstern Folk & Fire

The Nordstern Folk & Fire Festival is a new creation by organizer Mein LIEBLINGS Event GmbH. No edition took place in 2025; the premiere will be on July 25, 2026, at the open-air grounds of the Stadthalle Bremerhaven with In Extremo, Fiddler's Green, and Rauhbein.

Before the 2026 premiere, the Nordstern Folk & Fire Festival did not yet exist. Organizer Mein LIEBLINGS Event GmbH has newly conceived the format to bridge the gap between major German medieval and folk festivals and the maritime program of the Weser estuary. Bremerhaven had already hosted open-air concerts on the grounds of the Stadthalle, including performances by well-known rock and folk acts as part of individual concert dates. The Nordstern Folk & Fire brand aims to give these concert evenings a recurring festival framework starting in 2026.
