Overview
The Berlin premiere took place in April 2025 at Strandbad Orankesee — and immediately established the festival as a fixture in Berlin's spring calendar for medieval and reenactment fans. Organizer Cocolorus Diaboli implemented the proven concept from its other North German markets: authentic Viking camp, combat shows, market stalls, fire show on Saturday evening.
The stage featured acrobatics acts, stilt theatre, and medieval music. Viking boats were displayed on the beach, and children could play at the giant marble run, the water wheel, and the mini Ferris wheel. Market stalls offered mead, bratwurst, and Nordic crafts — blacksmith work, leather goods, wool clothing. Admission was, as in the following year, €8 for adults and €4 for children.
