Overview
The 2025 edition further established the festival format at the Goldbekhaus: concerts for listening alongside dance concerts for dancing along, free workshops for beginners and advanced participants, jam sessions as spontaneous meeting formats. The Goldbekhaus, with its various rooms (hall, Deck 9d, seminar floors), allowed for parallel programming.
The festival audience ranged from folk veterans to families with children — the free admission policy for children up to 14 years old makes the format open to all generations. Folk music as a practice rather than consumption: this claim was once again fulfilled.
