Overview

For the turn of the year 2025/2026, the Sylt Island Tourism Service, together with R.SH, once again invited to the New Year's Eve Open-Air Party at the Musikmuschel Westerland. Thousands of islanders and holidaymakers celebrated outdoors on the promenade from 10 PM.

New Year's Eve Party 2025 in Westerland

As every year, December 31, 2025, on Sylt was marked by the big open-air party at the Musikmuschel. The promenade in Westerland filled with partygoers from 10 PM, the DJ played charts, house, and dance classics, with the North Sea roaring in the background.

The island-wide ban on firecrackers and fireworks was also in effect for New Year's Eve 2025. The free island shuttle operated by Sylter Verkehrsgesellschaft ran continuously from 6 PM to 4 AM between the villages on Sylt. The next edition will follow on December 31, 2026.
