Edition 2025 — NEW-Pfingstfest

The 45th edition of the NEW-Pfingstfest took place in 2025, as usual, over the Pentecost weekend — four days of castle town festivities in Brüggen with live music, market stalls, Kirmes, and castle courtyard dining. Thousands of visitors from the Lower Rhine, Ruhr area, and neighboring Netherlands thronged the streets of Brüggen over the weekend. Bewusst Brüggen and the municipality immediately confirmed the date and format for the 46th edition in 2026 with a significantly expanded program.

45th NEW-Pfingstfest 2025 — Castle Town During Pentecost Weekend

The 2025 edition followed the established concept: opening on Friday evening, four days of live music on the main stage, the castle courtyard as a gourmet oasis, over 60 market stalls, and Kirmes attractions. The marketing association Bewusst Brüggen coordinated the program, with NEW (Niederrheinwerke) sponsoring as the main partner.

Following the 2025 event, preparations began for the 46th edition in 2026 — featuring a significantly expanded artist lineup (Chicago Rats, The Earls, Stiltlife performance "Naranjas") and a new acrobatics show. This program expansion aims to solidify the NEW-Pfingstfest's position as the largest Volksfest on the Schwalm.
