Overview

The Neusäß Volksfest 2025, from September 12 to 21, celebrated the 50th anniversary of the festival and the 150th anniversary of the Neusäß city's volunteer fire departments. The new festival caterer was Metzgerei Schmid from Wortelstetten; Mayor Richard Greiner tapped the first keg, and live bands like S.O.S., Mercuries, and Joe Williams Band performed in the festival tent.

50th Neusäß Volksfest 2025 – Double Anniversary

From September 12 to 21, 2025, the Neusäß Volksfest was dedicated to a double anniversary: 50 years of Neusäß Volksfest and 150 years of the city's volunteer fire departments. With Metzgerei Schmid from Wortelstetten, a new festival caterer was introduced, as Werner Schmid no longer operated the festival tent.

On the opening Friday, September 12, the parade formed at 5:30 PM from the Maypole in Remboldstraße, and around 6 PM, Mayor Richard Greiner tapped the first keg in the large festival tent. On the following festival days (Monday and Tuesday were rest days), the Stadtkapelle Neusäß and party bands like S.O.S., Mercuries, Midnight Ladies, Joe Williams Band, Bonny Tones, and Domenico Salerno took the stage. The festival week concluded on Sunday, September 21, with the traditional family finale.
