Edition 2025 — Christmas Market Neumünster
In 2025, Großflecken was once again transformed into a Christmas village during Advent, featuring a 375 sqm synthetic ice rink. Five weeks of programming with daily ice rink operation, ice stock sport evenings, Ice Princess performances, and school group mornings — supported by the Neumünster Sports Association and eight local sponsors.
The 2025 edition definitively established the synthetic ice rink concept — an environmentally friendly alternative to the traditional water ice rink, which also works in mild weather. The format with school mornings, ice stock sport tournaments, and Ice Princess performances proved to be popular. A convivial meeting point in the South Holstein town before Christmas at the end of the season.
