Overview

The 2025 edition of the Neumarkter Altstadtfest took place in June 2025, following the established three-day format with five stages, around 65 bands and dance groups, and approximately 100 stalls throughout the old town. As in previous years, the festival attracted tens of thousands of visitors to the city center of Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate.

In 2025, the old town of Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate once again transformed into a continuous festival mile over a weekend in June. The market square, Residenzplatz and Schlossplatz, as well as Untere and Obere Marktstraße, were filled with music, dance, and club performances on five stages.

The spectrum ranged from brass music and traditional dance groups from the Upper Palatinate to cover bands and singer-songwriters. Around 100 stalls offered Upper Palatinate and Franconian specialties, beer from regional breweries, and culinary contributions from local clubs.
