Neuburg Volksfest — Edition 2025

In 2025, Neuburg an der Donau celebrated the 79th edition of its traditional Volksfest from July 25 to August 3. In keeping with tradition, it opened with a joint concert, beer tapping, traditional costume dances, and a star march at Schrannenplatz, followed by the grand parade along Grünauer Straße to the festival grounds in the Ostend with a reception of queens and beer tapping by the mayor. Highlights of the ten-day program included the parade on opening day, the traditional contest on the first Sunday, fireworks on Wednesday evening, and the vintage car meeting on the second Sunday, complemented by a senior citizens' afternoon, a family day, and a flea market. The festival once again confirmed its status as the oldest and largest Volksfest in the region.
