Overview

In 2025, the Neubrandenburger Bücherfrühling already invited attendees to around 30 literary events from April to June. Readings, workshops, and award ceremonies at the Regional Library, Brigitte Reimann Literature House, and other venues once again made the Four-Tore-Stadt a meeting point for readers of all generations.

The 2025 Bücherfrühling continued Neubrandenburg's long festival tradition: around World Book Day, approximately 30 individual events were spread across the city over several weeks. Readings for adults and children, writing workshops, and award ceremonies formed the backbone of the program.

As every year, the Regional Library, the Brigitte Reimann Literature House, and other cultural institutions were the main venues. The Bücherfrühling thus reaffirmed its status as the most important literary festival in the Mecklenburg Lake District.
