In 2025, Hiddensee also celebrated a maritime beach festival with the Neptunfest on Vitte beach. Children's games, a sandcastle competition, Neptune baptism, and live music made the festival day a summer highlight of the island.
In 2025, the Neptunfest invited guests to Vitte beach with free admission. Families and island visitors experienced a day full of games, adventure, and maritime magic.
As usual, children's games, a sandcastle competition, and the humorous Neptune baptism ceremony were on the program. In the evening, a live band provided the atmosphere, while a barbecue stand catered to culinary needs. The festival once again confirmed its firm place in the summer calendar of the island of Hiddensee.
