Neighborhood Festival for the Neckarstadt

Neighborhood Festival 2025

The Neckarstadt Neighborhood Festival 2025 took place, as in previous years, on a summer Saturday afternoon. Three city district offices of Mannheim — Herzogenried, Wohlgelegen, Neckarstadt-West — along with the IG Herzogenried, jointly organized the festival.

With around 50,000 inhabitants, the Neckarstadt is one of Mannheim's most populous districts and also one of its most diverse — migrants make up a large proportion of the residents, who bring their culinary traditions to the neighborhood festival. Turkish Köfte, Moroccan Tagine, Italian Pizza, German Bratwurst, Polish Pierogi — the neighborhood festival reflects the culinary diversity of the district.
