Overview

The 57th Nebelhorn Trophy 2025 confirmed Oberstdorf's status as the central season opener in international figure skating. The ISU Challenger Series brought around 100 athletes from over 30 nations to the Ice Sports Centre, with top-class competitions in Ladies, Men, Pairs, and Ice Dance, and a sold-out closing gala at the foot of the Nebelhorn.

The 2025 edition already served as a preliminary test run before the 2026 Olympic season. Around 100 figure skaters from over 30 nations gathered at the Oberstdorf Ice Sports Centre, many with the goal of collecting points for the 2026 Olympic qualification. The level was, as every year, internationally high-class.

The competitions in Ladies, Men, Pairs, and Ice Dance were spread over four days, followed by the popular gala performance on Saturday evening. The Trophy once again confirmed its role as one of the most important season openers in the international figure skating calendar.
