In 2025, the NDR Festival once again transformed Büsum's mudflat grandstand into an open-air stage for a day. The main act, the Battle, and the Family Day formed the proven format of the free summer concert event on the North Sea.

The NDR Festival 2025 in Büsum offered several thousand guests a prominent pop act on the mudflat grandstand at the main beach. As in previous years, the concert was complemented by the humorous "Battle Grömitz vs. Büsum" — the sporting competition between the two North and Baltic Sea resorts — as well as the Büsum Family Day with children's entertainment. Admission was free with a guest or resident card, with Tourismus Marketing Service Büsum adhering to the established inclusive format.
