City festival with late-night shopping, live music on three stages, and culinary delights on Römerstraße
The Nastätter Nachtbummel is the big summer city festival of the small town in the Blauen Ländchen. For six hours – from 6 PM to midnight – Römerstraße is transformed into a festival mile, combining retail, gastronomy, and live music.
The retail sector presents itself with a late-night shopping event: boutiques, bookstores, opticians, jewelry stores, and many other shops stay open late into the evening. Special promotions, small refreshments outside the stores, and the unusual atmosphere of a nocturnal shopping spree are the appeal of this format.
In parallel, three stages feature live music. The program changes each year, typically including cover bands, singer-songwriters, and smaller pop/rock ensembles. The stages are spread throughout the city center, so visitors discover new sounds as they stroll through the streets.
The culinary offerings come partly from local gastronomy and partly from food stalls and club stands. From Flammkuchen to burgers to classic German festival food, along with wine, beer, and cocktails – the selection is broad and something for every taste.
The Nastätten Business Association is behind the Nachtbummel, conceiving the festival as a bridge between business, culture, and the town community. For many families from the surrounding villages, the Nachtbummel is the obligatory summer event.
The 2026 edition continues the proven format: six hours of city festival combining business, music, and social interaction. The mix of open shops, multiple stages, and culinary diversity defines the profile of the Nachtbummel.
The exact program for 2026 will be published by the organizer in the spring. The structure follows the proven cornerstones of previous years:
